Nice air . That takes practice as I’m learning lately . So I built this ramp today out of a 4x8 and used a piano hinge , beveled the corners at the peak so I can fly both ways but one side is shorter . I used the steel strip with the holes to hold the sides and made them both equal so I can adjust equally . The last thing I did was coat the wood red guard . Everything I used I had laying around and didn’t spend so I got lucky . The red guard stuff is for rolling over new shower board (concrete or green board ) to make a waterproof membrane . It’s grippy too . Works great so far but since I can get more air I have to practice and build a correct ski ramp . You know , build it the right way . This was just a fast one to lose the drywall board and brick . Nice thjng is it folds up and can be tucked away . It’s going to work for now . I failed my first flips and got scairt . I ll try again tomorrow . I can see how it works becasue when I hit them brakes in the air the car started front flipping .

Sledge is more fun than XRT. I think ARRMA Kraton being more lightweight and having a better warranty than the Sledge... .. I think ARRMA Kraton would be my choice.

Try the newer version.. Its brushless stock as well as has a Dumbo transmitter (Rlaarlo rebranded).. I own 3 of the brushless versions sense there they've been under $120... This brushed version is a joke and not in a Hahaaa way either...

So that's a standard size servo? I already planned on getting the truck asap just because Its cool looking, how good are the tires? soft/hard/will there be any choices for different ones or will we be stuck with what comes on it? Have you confirmed how many they are making and how good do you think the part support will be? I may have talked my father away from the scx-6 for this instead (because we rc together and I can't afford scx-6). I noticed that it says up to 3s batteries but could I put a 2s in it? I would assume so but sometimes the translation software the Chinese companies use messes up.

I am a crawler fan and I'll tell you this is over priced where we live, ie you n me in Oz. They want $1500 AUD for the brushless version, you can get the SCX6 for $200 more. The problem is that there is no local distributor for RLAARLO which means when someone does sell to Oz, we get shafted. I think the SCX6 is better value when you do this comparison, once I go over 1K for a crawler, I am all in and that means the biggest I can get. There is an 8x8 but it comes with a old style joystick controller = garbage. 2K AUD and you need to still add parts. The MK-07 is great for people in the US, but for us, I think it might end up being like Traxxas where we get charged double $. I think I have a crawler that cost me $900, basic portal machine converted to brushless and then added tracks and upgraded servo. It's not the size of the MK-07 nut it's 1/2 price when you don't do the upgrades I did. These sell anywhere from $400 to $700, depends if you get the full locking front and back portals. Has 2 speed as well, mine hoons on 3S tracks. I know I will still get the SCX6, the can is the size of a coke can, I mean bigger is better right?

So when you swing the wheel from standard position on right hand side of body to the left side of body does the transmitter know as it pertains to turning the wheel left “counter clockwise” is actually (left steering). Haven’t seen anyone answer that part.

Do you still recommend this setup for the Xmaxx? I’ve been seeing mixed reviews on it. The crazy thing is, I can sell my stock xmaxx set up and be able to buy this one. And I was wondering if it was worth it?
